Watching the ocean waves roll in, I realise that each moment is passing. The sea will continue to beat the shore and return to the depths long after we are gone. I use storytelling to create portals into mystical dreamlike realities that investigate lost connections with the self that are as deep and terrifying as the sea. Luring the viewer into a delirious euphoria that mirrors my own emotional experiences. The selkie soul skin mythology is a metaphor for embracing the divine feminine in all its forms, celebrating the deep, fragile, and lost parts of our identities.
